知之曰知之，不知曰不知；内不自以诬，外不自以欺。
出自先秦《荀子·儒效》。对于所知道的东西就说知道，不知道的就说不知道；这样，对内是不欺骗自己的良心，对外是不欺骗他人。说明为人应当诚实的道理。
