译文：与其让乡邻夸赞自己，不如让他们对自己没有怨言；与其为子孙谋求财富和产业，不如教会他们受用一生的本事。赏析：我们要做到被人人称赞很难，但可以做到不被人抱怨。对方抱怨，肯定是内心有不平事。当我们动之以情，晓之以理，做到公平公正，一视同仁，乡邻的怨愤才会减少。授人以鱼，不如授人以渔。我们竭尽全力为子孙后代积攒万贯家财，如果他们不会理财，家业迟早都会败光。相反，我们教会他们赚钱的本事，教会他们做人的准则，他们自然可以立于不败之地。
