译文：结交朋友如果是为了脸面有光，那不如结交对自己有身心有益的朋友；教导子弟求取富贵荣华，不如告诉子弟们养成良好的品行。赏析：《大学》一书中说：自天子以至于庶人，壹是皆以修身为本。意思是说，不管是天子还是百姓，都应该把修身作为自己的立身之本。做事就是做人，人做好了，事情自然就会成。
