A writer must be willing to be uncomfortable.

我想卖出一百万张唱片，我做到了。我想获得白金唱片；我获得了。我从15岁开始就一直在不停工作。我甚至不知道如何放松。

People are curious. A few people are. They will be driven to find things out, even trivial things. They will put things together, knowing all along that they may be mistaken. You see them going around with notebooks, scraping the dirt off gravestones, reading microfilm, just in the hope of seeing this trickle in time, making a connection, rescuing one thing from the rubbish.

And when you do I want you to know this， remember this: there is no such thing as failure. Failure is just life trying to move us in another direction. Now when you’re down there in the hole， it looks like failure. So this past year I had to spoon feed those words to myself.

言多必失，要谨言慎行，不要盲目争强好胜。  

The only thing standing between you and your goal is the story you keep telling yourself as to why you can't achieve it.
