出自先秦《荀子·子道》。服从真理而不服从君主，服从道义而不服从父命。说明在真理、道义与君令、父命相矛盾时要服从前者，意在强调唯“道”、“义”是从的理念。
技术应该为人类服务，而不是反过来。
