译文：经常想到这个世上还有人的处境不如我，还有人的命运不如我，就该知足感恩了；经常想到有人的德行操守超过我，有人的学问超过我，就该感到惭愧而发愤努力了。赏析：人的欲望是无穷的，也是难以满足的。很少有人做到知足常乐。人总是喜欢和其他人对比物质方面的东西，别人有的，也希望自己有。而学问，德行，却很少有人去反躬自省。

There is no short cut to achievement. Life requires thorough preparation.

一个人不论年龄多大，都要学习自己不懂的东西。这不是羞耻。
