When you’re young, you presume there’ll be many people with whom you’ll connect with. Later in life, you realize it only happens a few times.

译文：教育小孩子应当严厉对待，严厉的态度能平定孩子心中的浮躁之气；对待小人应当用敬待的态度，敬待的态度可以感化其心中的邪气，即使感化不了，也可使自己免于被其所害。
