译文:一句话说得不对,就能招致大祸,所以古人就知道守口如瓶,谨言慎行,就是害怕遭受杀身之祸;行为不检点,有失分寸,就能毁坏名节,所以古人就知道守身如玉,端正行为,就是害怕品行有污点瑕疵。赏析:口不择言,祸就会从口出,轻则得罪他人,重则招致杀身之祸。逢人且说三分话,未可全抛一片心。一个人在说任何话做任何事之前,必须要考虑后果。
