德尼·狄德罗（英语：Denis Diderot，1713年10月5日—1784年7月31日），法国启蒙思想家、哲学家、戏剧家、作家，百科全书派代表人物，毕业于法国巴黎大学。 德尼·狄德罗出生于法国东部郎格勒外省小城朗格尔的一个剃刀师傅家庭，1732年获得巴黎大学的文学学士学位。毕业后他当过家庭教师，翻译过书籍，结识了卢梭等一批志同道合的启蒙思想家。1749年因出版他的无神论著作《给有限的人读的盲人书简》而入狱。获释后，他顶着压力主持《科学、美术与工艺百科全书》，编写哲学、史学条目一千多条 。
