I think the reason why I am who I am today is because I went through those tough times when I was younger.
I’m comfortable with my role. I understand my role. I know what I bring to the table.
I always say, decisions I make, I live with them. There’s always ways you can correct them or ways you can do them better. At the end of the day, I live with them.
I’m going to use all my tools, my God-given ability, and make the best life I can with it.
The biggest lesson I've learned is to trust yourself.
I don't have to be perfect. I just have to try my best.
Gymnastics is what I do, not who I am.
I've learned that pressure is a privilege.
I don't think about medals. I think about my performance.
I train like I'm not the best, so I can stay the best.
I'm not afraid to tell my story. I'm not afraid to be vulnerable.
The team comes first. I have to do what's right for the team and not just for myself.
At the end of the day, if I can say I had fun, it was a good day.
I do gymnastics because I love it, not because I'm trying to be the best in the world.
I'm not the next Usain Bolt or Michael Phelps. I'm the first Simone Biles.
I always try to push my limits and see how far I can go.
I don't take anything for granted. I work for everything I achieve.
I'm a very positive person, and I always try to see the best in every situation.
I don't want to be compared to anyone. I want to make my own history.
I try to dedicate as much time as possible to my family and kids, but I also have to be selfish in terms of my career and my goals.
