I think the moment you stop learning, you stop being a writer.
And when you’re down in the hole， when that moment comes， it’s really okay to feel bad for a little while. Give yourself time to mourn what you think you may have lost but then here’s the key， learn from every mistake because every experience， encounter， and particularly your mistakes are there to teach you and force you into being more who you are. And then figure out what is the next right move.
I hope that in this year to come, you make mistakes. Because if you are making mistakes, then you are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing yourself, changing yourself, changing your world.

The past is a teacher, if we are willing to learn.

That is what learning is. You suddenly understand something you've understood all your life, but in a new way.
The more you learn, the more you know, the more you know, the more you forget. The more you forget, the less you know. So why bother to learn?
