以性分言，无论父子兄弟，即天地万物，皆一体耳，何物非我，于此信得及，则心体廓然矣；以外物言，无论功名富贵，即四肢百骸，亦躯壳耳，何物是我，于此信得及，则世味淡然矣。
就天性而言，无论是父子兄弟以及天地万物，皆是一体存在，那一种物体与我相异，能有此观点则心性形体清楚分辨。就外在而言，不论功名富贵及身体四肢皆是躯壳，皆非我所有，有此观点，则世俗的欲念不存在。
这一种爱可以是唇舌无能为力，辩才失去效用。
