译文：要发勇猛心。人们不肯改过，多半是因为因循守旧、不肯向前；我们要鼓舞振作起来，不要迟疑，不要等待。对于小的过恶，要如同肉中有芒刺一般，立刻剔除；对于大的过恶，要像毒蛇咬自己的手指一样，要快速斩断，没有丝毫的停滞，这就是《周易》中所说的风雷之所以有益处的原因。
